Do other's actions affect our lives?

Yes, I believe they do. What do you think? When someone you spend a lot of time with is negative in their words, actions, and deeds, it brings down the other. It's possible to sink to the level of the other persons' actions. To be put down in public gives a general feelings of unworthiness. In order to get out from under this situation, one must either separate from the person, or become stronger to rise above, and let many things fall off and go behind. The second part is the more difficult. Now, if a third party were to notice this negativity, and mention it, it could bring about a whole different atmosphere. Here's hoping......

  1. Good word! I totally agree. Other's actions do affect us. The Bible says in Prov. 22:24 Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, (25)lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare. This deals with anger specifically but the point is clear - we can become like who we associate with unless we can rise above and be strong.
